About the role
- Team Lead managing Personal Lines at Miller Insurance brokerage in Kincardine, Ontario. Providing technical leadership and day-to-day supervision while ensuring consistent policies and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on policies, markets, processes to ensure a consistent experience.
- Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to the team.
- Manages time off requests for direct reports.
- Monitor worklists and workloads, host regular team meetings.
- Responsible for all aspects of performance management for the team (coaching, performance management, career development, hiring, onboarding etc.).
- Conducting 1-1 meetings with the team and participating in annual performance review process.
- Ensure consistent workflows, policies, and processes are established, followed, and maintained.
- Complete quality reviews and provide follow up coaching and/or training.
- Serve as the first point of escalations for staff, carriers, customers.
- Provide or source any training and development opportunities.
- Training and organizing set up of new hires.
Requirements
- Must be RIBO licensed (if applicable)
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in a brokerage
- Proven track record successfully supervising/leading a team
- Experience implementing and/or responsibility for process, workflows, quality reviews and/or training
