Responsibilities

Manage external consultants and contractors to deliver complex engineering solutions seamlessly.
Drive sustainability initiatives, integrating energy-efficient technologies and aligning with corporate environmental goals.
Optimise asset deployment and lifecycle performance to minimise costs and maximise operational efficiency.
Present strategic engineering roadmaps to senior leaders, incorporating global trends and emerging technologies.
Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and champion a safety-first culture across all projects.
Monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and benchmarks, implementing corrective actions where needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in designing, costing, and managing building services engineering projects for large-scale retail or commercial environments.
Expertise in HVAC systems and electrical infrastructure, including sustainability frameworks (Green Star, NABERS).
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering national programs on time and within budget.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple external consultants and vendors.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at all levels.
Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Commitment to driving sustainability and innovation in engineering design.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
