About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer designing electrical systems for data centers. Collaborating with internal teams while ensuring compliance with codes and technical specifications requiring extensive electrical design experience.
Responsibilities
- Design Electrical systems including high & low voltage systems
- Develop detailed Electrical layout drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Perform load calculations and analysis
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes
- Collaborate with architects, structural, electrical, IBMS, plumbing teams etc to deliver integrated and coordinated designs.
- Coordinate with Electrical OEMs to incorporate updated product features into system designs.
- Support business and project delivery teams through all phases: site assessment, solution preparation, cost analysis, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, administration, construction monitoring, As-built preparation etc.
- Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for procurement and execution.
- Responds to requests for technical information from internal HPE team and customers.
- Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in Electrical design and implementation.
- Previous data center experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Electrical design software
- Experience with BIM processes and tools
