About the role
- Chief Accountant responsible for full-cycle accounting tasks in Lithuanian entity. Managing payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting with a focus on 1C system.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Accounting
- Full-cycle accounting for the Lithuanian entity
- Processing up to 80-100 suppliers invoices per month
- Working directly in 1C accounting system
- Month-end closing procedures
- Balance sheet and account reconciliations
- FX revaluation and adjustments
- Accruals and adjustments by counterparty
- Payroll calculation and accounting for 10–15 employees (B2C)
- Payroll calculation and accounting for 15–20 contractors (B2B)
- VAT accounting and reporting
- Corporate Income Tax (CIT) accounting and reporting
- Quarterly preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement
- Full support during annual statutory audits
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with 1C
- Ability to work independently, without constant supervision
- Senior-level expertise (chief accountant / controller mindset)
- Proven experience with Lithuanian accounting and tax regulations
