About the role
- Tax analyst reconciling tax accounts and supporting audits at a top educational group. Engaging with fiscal and accounting teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile tax accounts (federal, state and municipal), ensuring that accounting balances match the amounts calculated.
- Perform tax calculations for levies such as PIS/COFINS and IRPJ/CSLL.
- Identify inconsistencies in tax and accounting accounts, review them and propose adjustments and corrections.
- Maintain up-to-date internal controls related to tax calculation and reconciliation.
- Support internal and external audits and tax inspections, providing the necessary information and documentation.
- Interact with accounting, tax and controllership teams to align information.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in tax reconciliation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Previous experience in the tax area.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI.
