About the role

  • Project Manager for a software company in Lyon, managing functional specifications and client relationships. Contributing to Agile development processes in insurance software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Functional studies
  • Support and advise clients on the feasibility and functional relevance of requests
  • Analyze the existing solution and identify gaps between needs and the software solution
  • Write detailed functional specifications and obtain client validation
  • Provide functional support to developers
  • Prepare and manage functional and user acceptance testing
  • Plan project phases, track deliverables and raise alerts in case of risk or scope drift
  • Design screen mockups and functional prototypes
  • Write and execute acceptance and regression tests
  • Contribute to the preparation of functional test plans in collaboration with the QA team

Requirements

  • Minimum Bac+4 (four-year) degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
  • Proficient in writing functional specifications, functional testing and user acceptance testing; comfortable with project management and Agile tracking tools
  • Experience in the insurance sector (products, policy management, claims, endorsements, accounting, etc.) is a plus
