Responsibilities
- Take ownership of data engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams, working closely with data owners, analytics engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data pipelines.
- Utilize technical proficiency to design and construct data pipelines that enable seamless data integration from multiple sources into our data warehouse.
- Continuously optimize and enhance the data infrastructure to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance, while adhering to best practices.
- Promote the use of data-driven decision-making by empowering teams with access to accurate and timely data through well-structured pipelines.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into our data engineering practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data engineering with a track record of delivering successful data solutions.
- Expertise in AWS Cloud services, Snowflake, Azure Cloud, Airflow, Airbite, Athena, Glue, DBT, and S3 for data storage, processing, and transformation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and ETL.
- Solid knowledge of database technologies – T-SQL, data modelling and data warehouse methodologies
