Responsibilities
Manages an inventory of low to moderate complexity and exposure commercial claims
Investigates and resolves claims according to company protocols
Communicates regularly with customers and insureds
Verifies coverage and establishes timely and adequate reserves
Conducts investigations to gather pertinent information
Works with internal and external partners to facilitate claim outcomes
Authorizes claim disbursements within authority limit
Identifies and addresses subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud occurrences
Maintains compliance with state/local regulatory requirements
Requirements
High school Diploma required
Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable
Prior claim handling, or business experience in the insurance industry and/or customer service is preferred.
