About the role
- Senior Crewing Executive/Assistant Crewing Manager overseeing crew operations for fleet at CMA Ships. Ensuring compliance with crew management policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee crew operations for a designated fleet
- Coordinate and communicate with crew members, vessels, and Recruitment and Placement Services
- Ensure vessels are fully and competently manned in compliance with policies and regulations
- Manage safe manning requirements and propose suitable replacement seafarers in emergencies
- Prepare transfer or exit plans for vessels
- Monitor and maintain crew records in the Company database
- Ensure compliance with client requirements for additional seafarers
- Review Seafarers' Employment Agreements and contracts
- Participate in the Duty Officer roster and handle expenses
Requirements
- Diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in crew management
- Strong knowledge of mandatory STCW certifications, Seafarers’ Employment regulations, MLC 2006, CBA agreements, and Flag State requirements
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-driven approach
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
