About the role

  • National Operations Coordinator managing air and ocean freight operations for aerospace clients. Handling AOG cases in a fast-paced environment with a 24/7 on-call roster.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments across air and ocean freight
  • Process documentation including commercial invoices, AWBs, BOLs and customs declarations
  • Work with carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with ABF, DAFF, RACA, IATA DG, WHO-GDP and client SOPs
  • Manage temperature-controlled, high-value, and AOG cargo movements
  • Respond to AOG logistics requests during rostered on-call periods, including expedited shipments
  • Maintain job-level financials, billing, and KPI performance in CargoWise
  • Contribute to internal audits and compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Completion of Year 12; vocational or tertiary qualification in logistics or trade (desirable)
  • Solid experience in international freight forwarding operations (air and/or ocean)
  • Demonstrated success managing time-critical freight or AOG movements
  • CargoWise proficiency (job control, billing, milestone tracking)
  • Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, clearance procedures, and global trade documentation
  • DG certification and RACA screener accreditation (desirable)
  • A willingness to work flexibly, including participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster.
