About the role
- Principal Engineer overseeing IAM and Control Plane strategy for Cloudflare. Responsible for architectural evolution and mentoring engineers in building resilient ID systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect high-throughput, low-latency IAM systems.
- Define the roadmap for migrating legacy systems.
- Work closely with Product, Security, and UX teams.
- Set standards for engineering excellence through mentoring and code reviews.
- Ensure observability and resilience of the platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience building and managing software applications at a massive scale.
- Deep understanding of IAM protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
- Proven track record in designing, architecting, and debugging large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep knowledge of Go (our primary backend language).
