About the role

  • Procurement Manager overseeing materials and vendor relationships for home improvement operations. Leading procurement planning, sourcing materials, and managing inventory across warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement operations across all markets.
  • Ensure timely procurement of high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Partner with operations, sales, design, and warehouse teams.
  • Lead procurement planning to support operations and cost control.
  • Manage lead times, backorders, and product discontinuations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate deliveries.
  • Conduct cycle counts and full inventories.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and initiate cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and internal policies.
  • Develop and manage product catalogs and vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–7+ years of procurement experience in remodeling, construction, or building materials.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of remodeling products, lead times, and installation requirements.
  • Experience with Acumatica or other purchasing/ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with data entry, inventory systems, and Excel required.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; high attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Certifications (CPSM, PMP, or construction management) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
