About the role
- Senior Analyst at CPI focusing on Green & Sustainable Finance Research in New Delhi. Responsible for research initiatives and stakeholder engagement in sustainable finance projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support in planning and execution of research initiatives
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainable finance topics, including policy and regulation
- Analyze interactions between public and private actors in sustainable finance
- Co-author, review, and develop research reports and issue briefs
- Curriculum development for capacity development programs
- Coordinate internal and external meetings and workshops
- Engage with clients and investors to provide advice on research findings
- Represent CPI and present research at high-level events
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders in sustainable finance.
Requirements
- Post Graduate degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Management/CFA
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience in the field
- Significant professional experience in financial services, management consulting/advisory/research, international non-profit, government, and/or a multi-lateral institution
- Independent, analytical mind with an excellent track record of applying sound financial judgment to complex issues
- Flexibility, professionalism, enthusiasm for working as part of a team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
- Understanding of climate finance and financial sector actors that drive a low carbon, climate-resilient economy
- Advanced user of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Willingness to travel internationally/domestically.
