Responsibilities
Work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare
Support and optimize clinical laboratory information systems, specifically Blood Bank (LIS) operations
Serve as a key contact for system-related service requests and troubleshoot issues
Provide education and training to end users related to systems
Document findings, perform system testing during upgrades, and support ongoing enhancements
Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful system deployments
Participate in project planning, coordination, and implementation activities
Troubleshoot system issues and deliver timely fixes and enhancements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and one year of applicable hospital/major medical center/major clinical information system experience OR High School Diploma/GED, one year of relevant experience and four years of healthcare IT experience OR Associate's Degree, one year of relevant experience and two years of healthcare experience
Technical certification for certain departments
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
Familiarity with the processes and procedures related to healthcare regulatory agencies
In-depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice
