About the role

  • Regional Wealth Director leading strategic growth and talent development for CLA's Wealth Advisory Practice in California. Define market strategies and ensure quality advisor performance for client success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic expansion of your region—identifying high‑value markets, elevating advisor talent, and strengthening client relationships.
  • Shape the next generation of wealth leaders by coaching advisors to ensure they are driving net new AUM.
  • Review advisor books of businesses for quality and resource management.
  • Recommend advisor compensation given their results and quality elements.
  • Expand capacity through strategic hiring and talent development.
  • Build a performance culture rooted in accountability.
  • Serve as the bridge between local market insights and national Wealth strategy.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant financial services or wealth advisory experience required
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or supervising financial professionals.
  • Strong background in financial planning, investment management, and client advisory.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 24, and 65 licenses required (or equivalent registrations)
  • Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation preferred
