About the role

• DevOps Engineer enhancing and supporting cloud-based products for public sector organisations across Australia. Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with a focus on collaboration and growth.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be a key contributor in enhancing and supporting the delivery of our cloud‑based products that are used by public sector organisations across Australia.
• In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, reliable, and scalable deployments.
• You will work closely with engineers across the business, shaping technical discussions, influencing engineering standards, and helping uplift DevOps capability within the team.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with modern DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience deploying applications into cloud environments (ideally Azure).
• Solid understanding of cloud deployment architectures and associated tooling.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across environments.
• Experience contributing to technical design discussions and solution shaping.
• Ability to mentor engineers in troubleshooting, deployment, and best practice.
• Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts clearly and confidently.
• Proactive learner who stays up to date with emerging technologies and DevOps approaches.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a structured, analytical mindset.
• Ability to work comfortably at both detailed and conceptual levels.
• Experience working on modernising legacy applications (highly regarded).
• Experience delivering products or solutions for public sector clients (advantageous).
• Experience in a senior engineering or DevOps‑focused role.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high‑quality, secure, and performant solutions.
