About the role

  • Logistics Assistant coordinating events and providing support for community programs at City facilities. Ensuring safety and satisfaction for all participants throughout events.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities taking place within the facilities.
  • Ensure satisfaction related to rentals.
  • Ensure activities comply with applicable laws, General Management policies, and service delivery standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the planning and execution of events as well as follow-up activities.

Requirements

  • Completion of a one-year college program in event planning or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of proven experience supporting planning, scheduling, or coordinating events in the recreation sector or a related field.
  • Valid certificate in general first aid, CPR, or AED.
  • LAPHO customer service training / NAI training.
  • Knowledge of protocols, practices, and techniques for planning and executing events.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and legislation.
  • Knowledge of City and Service processes and policies.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
