Requirements Engineer for HF-Systeme at citema systems focusing on system and software requirements management in Berlin. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and security standards.
Responsibilities
Structured elicitation, analysis, prioritization and formal specification of system and software requirements for HF/RF systems with particular attention to functional and non-functional requirements (performance, real-time, reliability, interfaces)
Introduction and application of CPRE best practices (requirement types, quality criteria, review methods, prioritization, acceptance criteria)
Facilitation of workshops and reviews with product management, RF/HF hardware, embedded software and test teams; clarification of requirements and responsibilities
Creation of clear, testable requirements including use cases and acceptance criteria; optional support through modeling (Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeler)
Establishment and maintenance of the project in JAMA as the central requirements repository and integration with JIRA and Confluence. Management of changes
Derivation of verification and test criteria from requirements, support for verification activities and execution of traceability and consistency checks
Establishment of templates, review processes and metrics to ensure sustainable quality assurance of requirements management
Requirements
University degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering or equivalent
Demonstrable multi-year experience as the responsible Requirements Engineer for complex cyber-physical systems with high reliability and safety requirements (e.g., HF/RF, automotive, avionics, industrial, MedTech) – verifiable projects/references
Certified Requirements Engineer (CPRE Foundation required; CPRE Advanced or equivalent further training preferred) and routine application of CPRE methods
Deep understanding of safety/reliability engineering and security in requirements engineering, with the ability to specify and secure safety- and security-relevant requirements
Practical experience deriving verification and validation criteria, close collaboration with V&V/test teams, and experience with traceability, impact/change and risk management; optional MBSE/modeling knowledge (Enterprise Architect, Cameo/SysML)
Strong facilitation and communication skills for cross-functional workshops. Very good spoken and written German is required for effective communication within the project environment and with our German-speaking customers.
