About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to closeout at Citadel. Ensure quality, budget control, and client relations in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Responsible for budget control, scheduling, subcontractor management, client relations and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resources allocation plans.
  • Review project plans, specifications and contracts to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost projections and financial reports.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.
  • Ensure profitability by controlling cost and minimizing risk.
  • Lead project meetings with stakeholders, clients and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with superintendents to ensure field operations align with project goals.
  • Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Proactively address client concerns and provide regular project updates.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality standards, safety regulations and local building codes.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven track record managing ground-up commercial construction projects $500K to 10M+.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and building codes.
  • Proficient in construction management software (Procore), Google Drive, and Smartsheets.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
