About the role

• Information Security Consultant providing expertise in information security and audits. Assisting clients with security projects, management systems, and risk assessments in Hannover, Germany.

Responsibilities

• You advise clients as their primary point of contact for information security on all related matters and independently manage projects and key accounts
• You design, assess, and review information security concepts, policies, and management systems
• You conduct independent audits and prepare the associated reports
• You independently analyze and evaluate vulnerabilities, information security risks, IT systems, IT processes, IT documentation, and IT service providers, taking into account industry standards and regulatory requirements
• You produce clear technical assessments and provide practical recommendations for remediation to the client

Requirements

• You have at least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in the fields of information security, BCMS, or auditing
• You have experience with common standards, e.g., the BSI IT-Grundschutz compendium, ISO 2700x, TISAX, BAIT, VAIT, NIST, and KRITIS (desirable)
• You have strong knowledge and experience in project management and client consulting
• You are outgoing, have efficient time management, and can work well both in a team and independently
• You speak German at C1 level, both written and spoken
