About the role
- Consultant for US Operational Risk Management conducting quality assurance testing across various programs. Providing support and oversight with advanced AI knowledge in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance testing across US Operational Risk Management Programs.
- Conduct assessment of control population and control testing results.
- Lead targeted risk reviews of business areas to identify potential risks.
- Support the development and enhancement to internal US ORM testing team procedures.
- Apply advanced AI knowledge to drive efficiency in analytical work.
- Design and deliver reporting on US ORM QA and control testing results.
- Prepare high quality workpapers for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, or quality assurance, ideally within financial services.
- Advanced proficiency in developing and analyzing reports, dashboards, and metrics related to control effectiveness and risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CRISC, CISA) is an asset.
- Experience with compliance related technology tools, data analytics, or automation (e.g. SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create high-quality reports and presentations for executive audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
