About the role

• Data Developer responsible for building ETL pipelines to manage large datasets. Specializing in AI-driven tech solutions at CI&T in Brazil.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that data is received, processed, transformed, stored, and accessible in compliance with business requirements.
• Build and manage robust data pipelines, ensuring efficient maintenance of databases in large-scale (Big Data) environments.
• Manage high-volume data, applying advanced techniques to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Gather, prepare, and transform data for analysis, addressing processing issues and optimizing the data pipeline.
• Model new databases and build ETL/ELT processes according to new business requests and requirements.
• Add value by constructing, structuring, and optimizing data for effective use by analysts and other end users.

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines applied to data ingestion, using tools such as Databricks Workflows.
• Experience designing, building, and delivering data pipelines in scalable environments such as Azure Databricks.
• Strong experience with SQL, including Databricks SQL Analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, applying it in data processing environments such as Databricks.
• Practical knowledge of Spark.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
• The following are a plus:
• Experience with SAS and Teradata.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
• Advanced knowledge of Databricks Delta Lake for scalable, optimized data storage.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and/or Databricks Monitoring for continuous monitoring and performance management of pipelines.
• Experience with Linux operating systems for automation and data processing.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
