About the role

  • Senior Director of Shopper Marketing overseeing shopper marketing strategies for Chobani to drive brand growth and enhance customer engagement. Collaborating across teams to create impactful shopper experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of Annual Shopper Marketing Budget
  • Critically assess and evaluate all shopper marketing campaigns monthly and quarterly by customer for effective spend and measurable results (Profit, Sales, New Buyers, and Engagement/Reach)
  • Collaborate with Shopper Marketing Media and Marketing Agency partners for profitable media buying and in store asset creation
  • Continuous review and re-deployment of inefficient funding across campaigns into win/win consumer focused growth tactics
  • Management of national IRC and DFSI process, playbook, and planning against AOP objectives
  • Strong connectivity to Category, NPD, and marketing teams for informed decision making across key platforms to drive House Hold penetration and new buyers
  • Linkage to Creative and Design team work for product and platform messaging for retail deployment
  • Key Retail leadership across top 5 customers, for CPM negotiation and JBP productivity
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive shopper marketing strategy that aligns with overall brand and business objectives
  • Analyze and identify shopper insights and trends to proactively inform marketing strategies and tactics
  • Responsible for leading, motivating, and inspiring a high performing team in the development and execution of insights-based, omnichannel marketing programs by providing strategic direction and guidance to the team
  • Work closely with Sales and customers to develop joint business plans that drive category growth and enhance the shopper experience
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of shopper marketing initiatives and optimal performance, managing the budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI
  • Engage innovative approaches and channels to meet the shoppers where they are on the customer journey
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all shopper marketing plans are integrated with brand campaigns, product launches and sales initiative and there is consistent messaging across all shopper touchpoints
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field
  • 8+ years of CPG customer sales/marketing/agency experience required
  • Strong Financial acumen and dissection of ROI deployment tactics
  • Experience engaging/partnering directly with customers to develop and launch joint shopper solutions
  • Retail media and shopper marketing tactics and measurement experience with excellent analytical and data-driven problem solving abilities
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful shopper marketing strategies that drive brand growth and sales
  • Demonstrated understanding of account management, customer operations and category management principles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team across various locations
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
