About the role
- Leave of Absence Analyst supporting internal and external partners on leave processes. Coordinating accommodations under applicable laws and ensuring compliance with state leave laws.
Responsibilities
- The Leave of Absence (LOA) Analysis is a subject matter expert who provides support for internal and external partners on leave of absence and accommodation processes.
- Resolve escalated leave situations and lead the interactive process to find reasonable accommodations under the ADA or other applicable laws.
- Lead return to work efforts to get associates back to work at the earliest appropriate time consistent with an individual's strengths, abilities, capabilities, and limitations.
- Serve as a liaison with the third-party leave administrator and Occupational Health and Safety Officer to coordinate work accommodations for workers compensation cases.
- Run reports and provide insights throughout data analytics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support business decisions.
- Maintain and update the Nemours SharePoint site with all applicable leave of absence information.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification upon hire or within 90 days
- Minimum 5 years of experience to include the coordination and administration of various leaves, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and accommodation requests required.
- Working knowledge of multi-state leave of absence laws and regulations.
