About the role
- Product Owner responsible for enterprise integration platform development and management at C.H.BECK. Leading strategies, architectural definitions, and team collaborations for integration solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the vision, strategy, rollout, operation and continuous development of the integration platform
- Define the integration architecture and standards for API, event and system integration
- Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog for integration services, APIs, events and connectors
- Translate business requirements into integration requirements
- Establish integration governance (naming conventions, versioning, security, logging, monitoring)
- Manage internal and external development teams with a focus on quality, reusability and stability
- Act as the interface to enterprise architects, security, data platform and application owners
- Promote a modern integration culture and best practices across the organization
- Lead IT projects including stakeholder management, requirements gathering and progress communication
Requirements
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Integration Architect or in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), API design and event-based integration
- Understanding of REST, SOAP, messaging (Kafka, MQ), event-driven architecture, cloud/hybrid integration and ETL/ELT basics
- Practical experience in the introduction and operation of integration platforms (MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, Informatica, Boomi, Azure/AWS)
- Knowledge of API management (OAuth2, OIDC, rate limiting, versioning)
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and enterprise IT landscapes (ERP, CRM, PIM, MDM)
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style with strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong assertiveness combined with a pronounced team orientation
