About the role

  • Senior Discovery IT System Administrator role at CGS ensuring availability and security of eDiscovery applications. Collaborating on technical architecture and vendor issues while providing end-user support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
  • Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Assist in technical architecture design discussions
  • Liaise with vendors to address product issues
  • Develop and provide training for end-users
  • Provide general support and advice on electronic discovery tools

Requirements

  • Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM
  • Ability to operate and manage Microsoft server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
  • Ability to operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure servers, Azure Functions, and Azure API Gateways
  • Ability to operate and manage relational databases such as MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher
  • Experience with e-discovery tools (i.e. Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other review platform applications)
