About the role

  • Generator Engineer maintaining and repairing generators and electrical equipment for CES Power International. Enjoys a mix of workshop-based and field work, ensuring optimal equipment performance

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of generators, tanks, cables, BSUs, and distribution boards to ensure performance and reliability
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, providing practical solutions to minimise downtime
  • Safely travel to customer sites to perform planned and reactive work, delivering excellent customer service and technical support
  • Rapidly deploy and install road tow generators to customer sites when required
  • Work independently to manage your workload and ensure your van and workspace are well-stocked with the right tools and parts for maximum first-time fix success

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in power engineering or a similar industry
  • Experience in generator maintenance and repair, ideally within a temporary power or similar environment
  • Your own tools (essential)
  • A full UK driving licence
