About the role
- Senior Tax Analyst ensuring compliance in PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, and CSLL for C&A. Involves interaction with internal and external teams for efficient processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and accuracy in the calculation of PIS, COFINS, IRPJ and CSLL in accordance with current legislation, as well as taxes withheld at source on services received and taxes arising from foreign exchange settlements;
- Perform reconciliations of the related accounting accounts;
- Prepare and maintain control of tax credits;
- Prepare ancillary tax filings (Monthly and Web DCTFs, PerDcomp Web, EFD Contribuições, EFD-Reinf and ECF);
- Draft explanatory notes and support internal and external audits and tax inspections;
- Monitor legislative changes and lead the implementation of updates, including testing and process validation — including matters related to Tax Reform;
- Propose and implement KPIs that provide relevant information to the department and contribute to the Company as a whole;
- Interact with internal and external areas to ensure efficient processes and the quality of information;
- In short: act as a strong ambassador for the Company’s tax compliance and help make the Tax area increasingly relevant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law or related fields;
- Strong accounting knowledge;
- Experience in tax department routines;
- Advanced Excel;
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query;
- Knowledge of Alteryx and the Synchro 4 ME tax solution;
- Experience with taxation of financial institutions.
