Responsibilities
Independently perform accounting responsibilities involving the preparation, analysis, and communication of issues ranging from moderate to high complexity.
Review and analyze financial data, provide insightful commentary to facility leadership, and contribute to projects aimed at improving efficiency and maintaining a lean cost structure.
Coordinate capital activities; performing analysis, forecasting and system input.
Support the team with premium freight analysis.
Contribute to ad hoc projects focused on capital processes, standardization and lean reporting.
Collaborate within cross-functional teams and maintain a strong internal control environment.
Partner with facilities to resolve aging invoice issues (minimizing escalation).
Support monthly close processes and trial balance preparation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
