Tax Analyst supporting global tax compliance initiatives at CarTrawler, a travel tech company. Gaining exposure across international tax considerations and strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments across all tax heads .
Oversee transfer pricing requirements, maintaining documentation, monitoring intercompany charges and coordinating external reviews.
Partner with external tax advisors by providing required information, reviewing draft computations and ensuring high-quality submissions.
Support high-impact strategic projects including US sales tax expansion, DAC7 implementation, R&D tax credit documentation and M&A due diligence.
Conduct technical tax research and prepare clear internal memos on legislative changes, risks and opportunities.
Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Product & Technology, Commercial and other teams to embed tax considerations in business decisions and communicate updates effectively .
Requirements
Qualification (or part-qualification) in tax with broad exposure across multiple tax heads and a proactive, curious approach to developing expertise.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and translate tax requirements for non-tax stakeholders.
Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and sound commercial judgement to assess the tax impact of business decisions.
Experience managing or contributing to cross-functional projects, ideally within travel, technology or professional services environments.
