About the role

  • Tax Analyst supporting global tax compliance initiatives at CarTrawler, a travel tech company. Gaining exposure across international tax considerations and strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments across all tax heads .
  • Oversee transfer pricing requirements, maintaining documentation, monitoring intercompany charges and coordinating external reviews.
  • Partner with external tax advisors by providing required information, reviewing draft computations and ensuring high-quality submissions.
  • Support high-impact strategic projects including US sales tax expansion, DAC7 implementation, R&D tax credit documentation and M&A due diligence.
  • Conduct technical tax research and prepare clear internal memos on legislative changes, risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Product & Technology, Commercial and other teams to embed tax considerations in business decisions and communicate updates effectively .

Requirements

  • Qualification (or part-qualification) in tax with broad exposure across multiple tax heads and a proactive, curious approach to developing expertise.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and translate tax requirements for non-tax stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and sound commercial judgement to assess the tax impact of business decisions.
  • Experience managing or contributing to cross-functional projects, ideally within travel, technology or professional services environments.
  • A positive, team-focused mindset that aligns with CarTrawler’s culture and social and environmental commitments.
