About the role

- Act as the squad's backend developer.
- Implement integrations with various internal and external systems.
- Develop APIs and business workflows in Java and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with the quality team on integration testing and technical validations.
- Monitor logs, metrics and observability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience implementing key design patterns and system architecture.
- Experience in backend development with Java and Kotlin.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design best practices.
- Experience with Kafka messaging.
- Experience implementing observability (Datadog).
- Experience with databases such as RDS and DynamoDB.
- Ability to use, configure and manage feature toggles.
- Provide guidance and contribute to technical documentation.
- Provide technical direction following engineering best practices.
- Contribute to product evolution both technically and in terms of features and customer value.
- Experience with AWS.
- Knowledge of Python and/or Node.js is a plus.
