About the role
- Corporate Counsel providing legal counsel within US Pharma and Biopharma operations. Drafting contracts, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provides commercial transactional and healthcare regulatory legal counsel in support of the US Pharma, Biopharma, Nutrition, and IV Therapy commercial operations
- Draft, review, and revise product purchase, supply, manufacturing, distribution, capital expenditure, research & development agreements
- Negotiate and resolve informal disputes with key suppliers and service providers
- Advise the Company on structuring business practices in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Provide direction to paralegals and legal administrative staff
Requirements
- JD from accredited law school and eligible to practice in-house in Illinois
- 5+ years’ relevant legal experience with law firm and/or in-house setting
- Demonstrated ability in general corporate, healthcare legal and compliance matters
- Good analytical, drafting, negotiating, communication and relational skills
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple simultaneous demands and significant workload
- Good working knowledge of healthcare and other laws and regulations applicable to pharmaceutical and medical device companies in US
Benefits
- Salary Range: $195,000-210,000
