About the role
- Oversees the safety and security of the physical environment and all peoples associated with the Hospital
- Deterring crime against personnel on hospital property
- Protecting the hospital and its grounds against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry
- Regulating traffic and parking
- Manages the LaVan and Employee Shuttle
- Performs other job-related duties as required
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a law enforcement related program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five to seven years of progressive leadership experience in security/law enforcement/military, or healthcare experience preferred
- Must have demonstrated leadership abilities
- Valid Rhode Island driver's license required
- Schedule flexibility for 24-hour call in case of emergency
- Must be proficient in English
