About the role

  • Systems Engineer responsible for developing control units for Electro-Mechanical Flight Control Actuation systems at Honeywell. Engaging in the complete product design life cycle for urban air mobility projects.

Responsibilities

  • Developing specification for controller and individual development teams (hardware, software).
  • Being a technical lead coordinating all functional groups (El. HW, Mech, SW, Test Services, Safety, etc.) involved in development and prototype/ serial manufacture of electrical control unit and reporting on system design / development status to internal and external customers.
  • Liaising closely with customers, designers and suppliers
  • You will have an opportunity to work both independently and within a multi-functional team environment. You can also expect a support from areas of expertise and experience when required.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering ideally with mechatronics or computer science
  • 3 year working experience in Systems Engineering role or experience with software or hardware development with interest in developing career in systems engineering domain (cooperating with development team and overseeing end-to-end development process)
  • Fluent command of English language as you will be regularly communicating with team located in the US
  • Self-motivated approach, ability to work with little supervision, consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to quickly analyse, incorporate and apply new information and concept within an existing system or process
