About the role

Senior Software Engineer developing firmware for MB intrusion and access control solutions at Honeywell. Collaborating in a talented team of engineers to deliver secure and reliable systems with technical excellence.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for the MB intrusion and access control solution.
Lead and contribute to platform architecture and design initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Specialize in C, C++, C#, Lua, Java, and WCF, delivering robust solutions for complex problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems and related technologies.
Serve as a primary technical interface to customers and external developers, providing support, guidance, and technical leadership.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver on project milestones.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Programming Languages & Frameworks: Minimum 5 years professional experience with C, C++, C#, Lua, Java, and WCF in software development.
Experience in latest WEB technologies and database systems (SQL based).
Platform Design: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in platform architecture, design, and implementation.
Communication Systems: Minimum 3 years of experience working with communication systems, including integration and troubleshooting.
Customer & Developer Interface: Proven ability to interface with customers and external developers to provide technical support and solutions
Team Collaboration: Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
**Nice to have:**
Experience with intrusion and access control platforms or related security systems.
Fluency in German for communication with international customers and partners.
Previous experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
