Responsibilities
Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production.
Lead discussion and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
Lead modification of prototypes in available laboratory.
Identify and develop test procedures and fixtures for mechanical systems and designs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
7 or more years of experience in mechanical design and development.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis and simulation tools.
Experience with application of CAD or simulation tools on a real products (examples to be provided in interview).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of manufacturing processes.
Proven experience with mechanical designs.
