Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production.
- Lead discussion and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
- Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
- Lead modification of prototypes in available laboratory.
- Identify and develop test procedures and fixtures for mechanical systems and designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 7 or more years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis and simulation tools.
- Experience with application of CAD or simulation tools on a real products (examples to be provided in interview).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience with mechanical designs.
