About the role
- Senior Controllership Analyst ensuring accurate financial reporting for Honeywell's Building Automation strategic business group in a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Accounting operations: Monthly close activities, reporting and account analysis for the Building Automation strategic business group.
- Business partnership: Support transactions and provide financial analysis and accounting insight to achieve desired business and accounting outcomes.
- Financial reporting: Prepare schedules used in the quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes.
- Audit and Controls: Respond to audit requests and inquiries supporting quarterly and annual financial statements as well as SOX and compliance testing.
- Special projects: Execute projects such as support of acquisition or divestiture transactions and finance functional transformation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a large public accounting firm servicing public companies
- CPA or equivalent certification (or actively working toward credentialing)
- Experience with financial thoughtfulness and reporting
- Attention to detail and strong thoughtfulness skills
