About the role

  • Financial Controller at AssoConnect overseeing finance operations and HR admin in a hybrid role. Delivering financial reports and managing payroll in a growing scale-up company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly close — cut-off, journal entries, and validation — delivered autonomously and on schedule
  • Produce and deliver group financial reports (P&L & balance sheet) without reminders
  • Run FP&A — budget vs. actuals by department, with clear variance narratives within agreed deadlines
  • Manage top-line control — systematically cross-check all issued invoices against active contracts and consumed services before close
  • Track costs and COGS by department, flag anomalies proactively
  • Own Payroll Software as the single source of truth for payroll and HR admin
  • Process all variable payroll elements (bonuses, absences, onboarding/offboarding) accurately and on time
  • Manage contracts, health insurance, and absence tracking

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate finance, management control, or FP&A
  • Diploma Bac+4/5 in finance, accounting, management, or business school
  • Background in a scale-up, structured SMB, or consulting firm (SaaS/tech clients) is strongly valued
  • Strong skills in Management Control / FP&A
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets financial modeling
  • Bilingual French/English (written and spoken)
