Responsibilities
Design and develop cutting-edge hardware solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of aerospace products.
Report directly to the Engineering Manager on a hybrid work schedule from Phoenix, Arizona.
Impact the efficiency and effectiveness of aerospace solutions by driving innovation and ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
Build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
Minimum of 8 plus years of experience in hardware design and development.
Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
Experience with hardware testing and validation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Advanced Engineering degrees such as Electrical Engineering (EE) or related fields.
Experience in hardware (V&V) Validation & Verification.
Experience in leading hardware design projects.
Ability to mentor junior engineers.
Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Knowledge of FPGA and microcontroller-based designs.
Experience with DO-160 and DO-254.
Experience with TSO and PMA for aerospace products.
