About the role

  • Principal Network Architect leading innovative network solutions at Honeywell, enhancing operational efficiency and security across global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize network performance, security, and reliability, implementing best practices and industry standards.
  • Work as a subject matter expert in IT architecture planning, providing valuable insights to our cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with our IT architects and planners to define and execute IT architecture strategies that align with our business goals, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Support the planning and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and compliance standards.
  • Define a long run plan for data center networks, WAN/LAN, cloud networking, and security infrastructure.
  • Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and advanced, secure, multi-vendor infrastructure.
  • Drive adoption of modern networking technologies and infrastructure as a service.
  • Develop and enforce standards for network performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT architecture planning, with proven expertise in architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with network management tools and technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud networking solutions.
  • Expertise in network design, protocol analysis, cloud platforms, and security methodologies.
  • Professional-level certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JCP).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing, security, and data management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise-level network solutions.
