Director of Government Relations shaping and executing government relations strategy for Honeywell. Building relationships with officials and navigating regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities
Lead development and advancement of legislative and regulatory proposals in up to 5 US states
Identify, analyze, and report to the Company business, legislative and regulatory issues that could potentially impact the business and recommend and manage a course of action
Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulators, elected officials, civil servants, and other key stakeholders
Develop and oversee the production of high-quality written recommendations, briefings, publications, presentations, and other collateral that communicate complex messages clearly and effectively to audiences, with a focus on government stakeholders
Coordinate strategy with consultants and trade association representatives to ensure active engagement on areas of interest to Honeywell and that all are aligned in support of our business strategies
Organize and drive communication with Honeywell senior leadership, including meetings, briefings, and campaign reviews
Participate, serve, and assume leadership positions on industry-related associations, steering committees, and networking organizations to protect and promote the Company interests

Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledge of the industry and regulatory landscape
Experience in a corporate government relations role
