Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in policy writing/development and research an asset.
Bachelor's degree in public policy, public health, public administration, healthcare administration or a degree/diploma in a relevant health discipline required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
Exceptional writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.
Strong coordination and organizational skills, with experience in managing timelines and deliverables.
Effective facilitation skills to lead stakeholder meetings and ensure collaborative policy development.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in policy writing and documentation.
Excellent research skills, including the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and apply it to policy development.
Ability to comprehend abstract and complex concepts and translate them into concrete, simple, user-friendly documents.
Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making within the scope of responsibilities.
Competent in the use of Microsoft programing including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
Demonstrated mid-senior leadership capabilities.
