About the role

• Engineer 5th Class responsible for monitoring and maintaining building systems at Southern Health-Santé Sud. Requires initiative and judgment in a maintenance role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building and medical related systems and associated equipment in a 5th class plant.
• Exercise initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods and action on unusual matters.
• Function consistent with the mission, vision and values of Southern Health-Santé Sud.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years' experience working in a maintenance position.
• Previous experience working with electrical, carpentry, plumbing, heating, or air-conditioning.
• Power Engineering - 5th Class Certificate as recognized by the Province of Manitoba.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Fire Codes and C.S.A standards.
• Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.
