About the role

  • Reporting Analyst contributing to the European Commission's customs modernization initiative through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to produce meaningful reports.
  • Designing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools to monitor business metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored insights.
  • Performing trend analyses and developing forecasts to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement through data-driven workflow analysis.
  • Validating the accuracy and completeness of reports, ensuring data integrity at all times.
  • Providing ad hoc analyses to support time-sensitive business decisions.
  • Training and supporting team members in using reporting tools and interpreting data outputs.
  • Staying current with new data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Applying AI technologies to automate reporting processes and enhance analytical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • IT Infrastructure knowledge mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and techniques for automating reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with ETL processes or managing data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or financial systems such as Salesforce or SAP.
  • Exposure to statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • ITIL and ITSM knowledge is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
