Responsibilities
- Implementing, configuring, and monitoring WAFs (like Imperva AWS WAF, Cloudflare) to protect web applications.
- Setting up and configuring cloud-based WAFs to protect web applications from various attacks.
- Analysing WAF logs and alerts to detect and respond to security threats.
- Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability testing of web applications.
- Creating and enforcing security policies, rulesets, and configurations for the WAF.
- Participating in incident response and forensic analysis in the event of a security breach.
- Working with development and IT teams to ensure secure application deployments and address security issues.
- Staying abreast of the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation related to WAF configurations and security practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years or more in Cloud WAF (Imperva, Cloudflare, AWS WAF)
- 3 years or more of experience in Palo Alto firewall & Panorama.
- 3 years or more experience in cloud Proxy (Zscaler, Sky-high, CATO)
- Knowledge about SASE ZTNA.
- Any implementation experience on SASE Product (CATO , Zscaler, Net scope, Palo Alto).
