Responsibilities

  • Do data pipelines, data migrations and cloud data platforms belong to your comfort zone?
  • Do you master the relevant data tools to enable scalable analytics and AI services?
  • You will be part of a global network of data experts and work to design and implement cloud data platforms on a cutting-edge technology stack.
  • Your role will be defined based on your experience and interests, possibilities varying from hands-on implementation work to designing data and solution architectures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of data engineer or data architect work with Azure (experience with AWS or Google Cloud is an advantage)
  • Excellent hands-on skills with SQL and Python or Java
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Azure Synapse)
  • Experience with modern lakehouse platforms including Databricks
  • Practical experience with CI/CD practices and related tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business, data, and technology, translating customer needs into trusted technical solutions
  • Experience with some of the following is considered a plus: Data modeling and data governance (e.g. dimensional modeling, data catalogs, metadata management, data quality frameworks, or tools such as Azure Purview, Collibra, Alation)
  • Data integration and processing tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Databricks, or Spark
  • Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation
  • Information security and privacy considerations related to cloud solutions
  • Passion for learning, exploring, and developing your expertise.
  • Fluent communication and presentations skills in English and preferably also in Finnish
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field.
  • Ability to work independently with customers - previous consulting experience is a plus.
