About the role

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the Availability Management process aligned with ITIL standards.
- Monitor service availability against SLAs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct risk assessments for critical services and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Problem and Incident Management to reduce downtime and improve resilience.
- Develop and maintain the Technology Capacity Plan and Forecast.
- Monitor resource utilization and predict future capacity requirements.
- Ensure IT resources (compute, storage, network) are optimized for performance and cost.
- Produce regular reports on availability and capacity metrics for stakeholders.
- Present improvement proposals and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Maintain documentation such as Capacity Management Summary and Handover Reports.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Availability, Capacity, Service Continuity).
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance analytics.
- Ability to forecast demand and plan infrastructure growth.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
