About the role
- Legal Counsel in charge of securing international operations and ensuring legal compliance for Sodiaal. Providing legal support and advice, drafting contracts, and managing disputes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the legal protection of the Group's international activities
- Provide legal support to the SDI Business Unit
- Legally optimize international commercial activities
- Analyze, draft and participate in the negotiation of contracts
- Advise and train operational teams
- Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters in coordination with external counsel
- Contribute to the rollout of the Group's international strategy
- Monitor legal developments and analyze local legal systems
Requirements
- Master's degree (Master 2) in Business Law, with a specialization in Contract Law or in Business Law
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an international in-house lawyer / legal counsel
- Experience with foreign legal environments would be an advantage
- Experience in commercial/international contracts and international disputes/litigation
- Knowledge of the food / agri-food industry
- Excellent professional command of English, both written and spoken
- Excellent drafting skills, strong analytical and synthesis abilities
- Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, organizational skills, rigor and pragmatism
