About the role

  • Category Manager responsible for strategic implementation in the On Trade channel for Campari. Collaborating across teams to enhance category performance in wines, champagne, and spirits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the category strategy for accounts within the Prescriber (On-Trade) channel
  • Build operational plans (assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising) and ensure their execution
  • Develop an assortment policy tailored to each customer type and monitor numeric distribution (DN)
  • Develop, present and manage promotional plans in coordination with the Key Accounts Director
  • Define merchandising recommendations and support their implementation
  • Develop and monitor commercial KPIs
  • Produce monthly and quarterly analyses and perform diagnostics by account/retailer
  • Work closely with the CCM team, Key Accounts Directors, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Legal

Requirements

  • Proficiency with distributor and consumer panel data
  • Strong experience in Category Management within FMCG or the Prescriber (On-Trade) channel (experience in multinational companies appreciated)
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to formulate clear recommendations
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Mastery of sales methods and techniques, with strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the beverages market, distribution channels and competing players (asset)
  • Professional proficiency in English required
