About the role
- Purchaser responsible for online assortment in leading German furniture retail company. Collaborating with various departments to enhance online presence and sales.
Responsibilities
- You are part of our purchasing department and responsible for your own product assortment.
- As part of the team, you work at the interface with Online Category Management, Marketing (Social Media, Content & Campaign, Photo Studio) and Logistics.
- You further develop our assortment to ensure we are successful online.
- Planning attractive assortments for our online shops and implementing purchasing decisions.
- Preparing, conducting and supporting negotiations on terms and conditions with the industry's most well-known suppliers.
- Market and competitor monitoring as well as performance analyses.
- Developing products for our attractive private-label brands.
- Maintaining product content so your products perform well in the online shop.
- Selecting products and themed assortments for the newsletter and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
